Tools

The facility-based tools are divided into different surveys, to be collected at the clinic through observations, and talking to healthcare providers and healthcare users. A technical guide to the tools explains more about the questions in each of the surveys.

The community-based tools allow us to deep dive into the challenges people experience, capturing the experiences and insights of both of those accessing public health services and of those who are not currently interacting with any clinic, both of whom have critical information about what is and is not working.

Observation Survey

The observation survey assesses the functionality of the clinic based on space, condition & cleanliness, availability of condoms & lubricants, & whether relevant posters are visibly on display.
